| Feeding: |
 |
The feeding schedule is 2 times per day - 8:30 a.m. & 8:30 p.m.
Plenty of excellent quality grass hay available grown on the property - pesticide free.
We feed a special formulation sweet feed that contains 13% sweet feed, 12% barley, as well as linseed meal and cracked corn. Additional supplements are also available. Beet pulp is also fed twice per day with the grain ration.
Beet pulp is an excellent source of fibre as well as ensuring that horses receive enough water in their diet either in summer when it is very hot or in winter when it is quite cold. |

| Turnout: |
 |
Summer turnout : Horses are turned out in the early evening to the late morning. They are brought inside during the hottest part of the day. Horses are
rotated from one pasture to another so that they are able to eat grass from June to October.
Winter turnout : Usually weather permitting, all horses are turned out from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Horses will receive up to a bale of hay per day in the winter months. A sufficient amount of hay will be fed outside, depending on the weather. Top
quality round bales are also fed free choice during the winter months. These round bales are stored inside so they stay at a top quality forage. |

| Blanketing: |
 |
Winter blanketing is included in the board cost. If you provide a blanket, your horse will be blanketed when it is colder than -15.
If additional blanketing is required, then there is additional cost. |
